Cahaya Rancamaya High School Students Are Successfully Accepted In The World’s 3 Best Universities

Thanks to his persistence, Muhammad Mikail Rais, a student of SMA Cahaya Rancamaya Bogor, was successfully accepted into the 3 best universities abroad. The three campuses are ranked in the world’s top 100 according to the QS World University Rankings.

The three universities are Nanyang Technological University (ranked 12th in the world) Singapore, University of Toronto (ranked 26th) Canada, and the University of Western Australia (ranked 93rd in the world) Australia.

Currently, students who are familiarly called by the name Kai are still waiting for graduation announcements from the world’s top 3 universities with a fairly high chance of being accepted. The campuses are the National University of Singapore (11th in the world), University of Pennsylvania (13th in the world), University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (82nd in the world).

The choice of SMA Cahaya Rancamaya students was narrowed down to a top university in Singapore, namely NTU (Nanyang Technological University) with a major in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Persistent in Fighting for Dreams
The main key to Kai’s success in qualifying for the best universities in the world is his persistent effort and always feels the need to achieve his dreams. He underwent several special preparations while he was in high school.

He takes online preparatory lessons for studying abroad to learn how to solve Physics and Mathematics problems that will be tested. The preparatory institution that Kai participated in also provided seminar and motivational sessions that added insight and enthusiasm so as not to give up easily in competition.

Apart from that, he also took foreign language courses to get a high IELTS score as well as practice writing essays and facing interviews well.

Outside of school hours and courses, Kai also studies independently which is usually done in the afternoon.

Active in competition and organization
When he was in middle school, Kai was familiar with participating in various science competitions. One of the prestigious achievements was when he won a silver medal in the science field in the National Science Competition (KSN). This achievement also continued in high school, where Kai also won a silver medal in Physics in the KSN at the high school level.

Kai also said that he was very active in organizations and had been the student council president of Cahaya Rancamaya High School. In addition, Kai has also developed foreign language skills while taking Arabic extracurriculars in collaboration with the Nile Center (Egypt).
