Students of Cahaya Rancamaya Islamic Boarding School (IBS) once again demonstrated commendable achievements through their participation in the Olimpiade Sains, Seni, dan Budaya Indonesia (OSEBI) 2026, a national competition held under the auspices of the Festival of Science and Culture of Indonesia. This event serves as a platform for students across the country to develop academic excellence, creativity, and appreciation for science, arts, and cultural values.

OSEBI 2026 is designed to encourage young learners to think critically, creatively, and with strong character through an integrated approach that combines science, arts, and culture. The wide range of competition categories provides opportunities for students to express ideas, sharpen analytical skills, and showcase creativity in meaningful ways.

At OSEBI 2026, Amrina Nur Khaerani (Grade 10 Cambridge) of Cahaya Rancamaya IBS achieved a notable accomplishment by winning the Silver Medal in the Poem category. This achievement reflects her strong literacy skills, artistic sensitivity, and ability to express ideas and emotions through thoughtful and impactful literary work.

This accomplishment highlights Cahaya Rancamaya IBS’s commitment to nurturing students’ potential not only in science and academics, but also in arts and culture as integral elements of holistic education. The success was supported by dedicated guidance from teachers and a learning environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and intellectual growth.

Participation and achievement in OSEBI 2026 align with Cahaya Rancamaya Islamic Boarding School’s mission to develop students who are academically capable, well-rounded, and culturally aware. The school continues to motivate students to take part in various academic and non-academic competitions as a means of personal development and confidence building.
