“A great nation is one that honors the services of its heroes”
To celebrate the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Cahaya Rancamaya School once again organized a series of events to mark this significant occasion. The day began with the raising of the red and white flag and the reading of the Proclamation text, a moment that felt both sacred and solemn.
Following the flag-raising ceremony, the celebration continued with a performance by the CR Band, which played national songs, further igniting our sense of patriotism.
The festivities didn’t end there. The event carried on with traditional games and competitions, filled with excitement, in which both students and teachers enthusiastically participated. The Cahaya Rancamaya Student Council (OSIS) committee had prepared a variety of competitions and fun games, such as tug of war, catching eels, eating crackers, and many more
In addition to celebrating Indonesian independence, these activities served as a platform for students to develop their agility, teamwork, and leadership skills. After a day filled with lively activities, the celebration concluded with a prayer and a communal meal, symbolized by the traditional tumpeng, as an expression of gratitude for the independence won by previous generations. It also reflected our hopes for Indonesia to continue to be blessed with security, prosperity, and mutual tolerance, in line with our national motto, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.
