The Cahaya Rancamaya Islamic Youth Festival, or CRIYF, is back again this year! Now entering its third year, this annual event comes with even more excitement, offering a wide variety of competitions and categories for both groups and individuals.
Group competitions include Math Is Fun, LCC (Quiz Contest), High School Debate, Ensemble, and Qur’an Recitation (Syarhil Qur’an). For individual categories, there are competitions like Paper Plane, Batik Painting, Poetry Reading, Speech, and Chess. What sets this year’s CRIYF apart is the introduction of new competitions, including sports such as Basketball, Swimming, Badminton, and Table Tennis, as well as traditional arts like Kite Flying, Coconut Shell Stilts (Egrang Batok), and Bamboo Stilts (Egrang Bambu).
Can you imagine how exciting CRIYF 2024 will be? With so many opportunities to compete and win prizes generously sponsored by donors and sponsors, this year’s event promises to be unforgettable!
This two-month-long event wouldn’t be possible without the support and contributions from various parties.
