In an effort to prepare the next generation of the nation to be qualified in terms of intellectual ability, character, spirituality, and physical health, and to raise students’ awareness and knowledge of the dangers of cigarettes and drugs, Cahaya Rancamaya Junior and Senior High Schools held an “Educational Seminar on the Dangers of Cigarettes and Drugs.”
The event, held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, featured a highly experienced and credible speaker in this field, Mr. Kombes Pol. Gazali Ahmad, S.Ik, MH, Head of the South Jakarta City BNN.
Besides educating students on the dangers of cigarettes and drugs, the seminar also presented real-life examples of the harmful effects of drug abuse and other addictive substances.
The material was delivered in an engaging and interactive manner, which kept students highly enthusiastic about participating in the seminar. The event was made even more exciting and lively by the speaker, who offered prizes/door prizes for students who actively participated by answering questions and attentively listening to the material. This created a fun yet conducive atmosphere for absorbing all the information presented.
It is hoped that CR students and all generations of this nation will remain aware of and protected from the dangers of drugs and other addictive substances, so they can continue to excel and make positive contributions to Indonesia.
