Harvest Achievements at the 2024 ISPO Event

Closing the last day of KBM before EASE 3 or Mid-Semester Assessment for the academic year 2024, Cahaya Rancamaya Middle School and High School students shared a moment of joy with a Harvest of Achievements. Through  their representatives at ISPO (Indonesia Science Project), Cahaya Rancamaya School managed to garner 6 awards out of a total of 9 representatives in the FSB (Science and Culture Festival) 2024 event.

In this annual event organized by Eduversal, Cahaya Rancamaya School collected 3 Silver Medals and 3 Honorable Mentions. The students who earned Silver Medals were M. Dwi Yudha Utama (Grade 11 Senior High School) & Qaizer Farros Al Karim (Grade 10 Senior High School) with their Project (ELV-Nav Echolocation Vision Navigator), Mukhlis Abdulkadir (Grade 9 Junior High School) & M. Fahrizal Marasabessy (Grade 9 Junior High School) with their Project PURE (Plastic Fuel For Renewable Energy), and lastly, M. Zayyan Fairuz (Grade 10 Senior High School) & Teddy Bima Putra (Grade 10 Senior High School) with their Project CANOGEL (Carbon Nanodot Hydrogels).

As for the teams that received Honorable Mentions, they were Fikri Zidane Athayya (Grade 11 Senior High School) & Fahad Abdul Aziz Faiz Bagazi (Grade 11 Senior High School) with their Project SENSITIVE (Sustainable Energy System With New Innovation in Dragon Fruit Technology), Hanif Alfarizki Pratama (Grade 9 Junior High School) & Esad Bayram Arivamurti (Grade 9 Junior High School) with their Project TOOTH (The Organic Option For Teeth Health), and lastly, the team of Enes Halis (Grade 9 Junior High School) & Zulfiqar Nurrahim Putuanda (Grade 9 Junior High School) with their Project NANOWA (Nanocellulose-Based Botanical Nanotechnology For Water Treatment).

Certainly, reaching this stage requires effort, hard work, and sacrifices from the students, especially for junior high school students, as they have to compete with senior high school students from across Indonesia, who are generally more mature mentally and emotionally. However, this did not dampen their fighting spirit. With hard work, high spirits, and of course, the support and guidance from their mentors and the school, they managed to achieve remarkable success.

In addition to winning medals at ISPO this year, the 6 teams from Cahaya Rancamaya School also qualified as Indonesian representatives to compete in international events such as (GENIUS in New York USA), (IGO in UK) and VILIPO in Lithuania). Hopefully all Cahaya Rancamaya students can continue to contribute their best efforts for our beloved country of Indonesia. (Harmain)
