Hello, CR Friends! Welcome back to Info CR, where we always share the latest updates about Cahaya Rancamaya Islamic Boarding School.
Without realizing it, PTS 1 has just passed, and yesterday at CR School, the report card distribution for the Mid-Semester Assessment (PTS) was held. From the process of distributing the report cards, it might not seem much different from how it’s done at other schools.
However, what sets CR School apart during the report card distribution is that it’s always accompanied by the P5 Work Exhibition Program. Before meeting the homeroom teacher for the Parent-Teacher Conference, parents are invited to tour the exhibition. This exhibition showcases student work and innovations from the P5 program, BIM students, the FIKSI Program, and CRIYF projects. In addition, parents can also view exciting work from other areas, such as Edusteam, where many student innovations and creative projects are on display.
At the exhibition, parents are not just encouraged to browse and observe; they can also ask questions about the process behind the projects and even purchase products created by the students. These include items like clothes dyed with natural materials, packaged food, fresh vegetables, local specialties, recycled crafts, and much more.
Moreover, parents can take part in a charity auction featuring Batik student paintings from the 2024 CRIYF competition. A portion of the auction’s proceeds will be donated to support the CR charity event for orphanages.
