Our school was delighted to welcome representatives from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, as part of our continuous commitment to broadening students’ horizons and providing direct access to leading global universities. This visit reflects our strong dedication to preparing students for international academic pathways and future global careers.
The session was led by distinguished representatives from UNSW:
Ms. Nur Fatmah Syarbini – Country Director Indonesia
Mr. Christian Frestly Rimbun – Future Students Manager
Ms. Yulita Tjahjono – Relationships and Conversion Manager
During the session, students were introduced to Australia’s higher education system, including academic structures, student support services, and post-study opportunities. The representatives provided comprehensive insights into UNSW’s wide range of undergraduate programs, research strengths, campus life in Sydney, scholarship opportunities, and admission pathways for international students.
Students also gained a clearer understanding of entry requirements, foundation and pathway programs, English proficiency standards, and tips for building a strong university application profile. The speakers emphasized the importance of academic readiness, leadership involvement, and extracurricular achievements in preparing for competitive global universities.
The event was attended by SMA students across all grade levels, demonstrating strong interest in international education. Throughout the session, students showed great enthusiasm by actively engaging in discussions and asking thoughtful questions about program selection, internship opportunities, employability prospects, and student life in Australia. The interactive atmosphere made the session both informative and inspiring.
Australia continues to be one of the top destinations for higher education, known for its high academic standards, multicultural environment, and strong industry connections. As one of Australia’s leading universities, the University of New South Wales plays a strategic role in delivering world-class education, innovation-driven research, and global exposure for students seeking to compete in an international landscape.
We sincerely appreciate UNSW’s visit and look forward to continued collaboration in empowering our students to pursue excellence on the global stage.
